When You Have Too Much Yogurt, Make Yogurt Bark
My family goes in major food phases. Every so often we get really into one particular food and the moment I decide to make it in bulk, no one wants it anymore! (Perks of having toddlers, right?)
Recently we were deep in a yogurt phase, and my fridge was full of regular homemade yogurt, goat yogurt, and even coconut yogurt! But as these things tend to go, the phase passed, and suddenly I had a lot of yogurt to use up before it went bad.
Frozen yogurt bark was the perfect solution! Not only does it help yogurt last a little longer, but the fun presentation makes everyone more excited to eat it. It’s become a go-to healthy snack my kids and I all genuinely enjoy!

Tips for Success
Use thick yogurt – Thinner yogurt has a higher water content and tends to make the yogurt bark icy. Regular homemade yogurt and full-fat Greek yogurt typically make fantastic yogurt bark. You can also use a thick dairy-free yogurt such as homemade coconut cream yogurt.
Make sure the berries are in small pieces – If you’re including larger berries, such as strawberries, cut them into small pieces before adding to the bark.
Keep frozen – It thaws quickly so only take it out of the freezer right before eating.
Experiment with add-ins – Want to add some additional sweetness? Throw in some chocolate chips or drizzle with honey! If you’re not a fan of granola, feel free to swap for chopped nuts or leave it out all together.
