The Cooking Hack I Missed for Years
Confession: I avoided any dish with a sauce for years. Store-bought versions were full of ingredients I didn’t like, and I never took the time to learn make my own from scratch.
Once I finally decided to try, I quickly realized that condiments were the easiest food ever, and they quickly became staples in my healthy kitchen. This is my favorite sauce to serve with fish (you’ve got to try it with sardine fish cakes), though it also pairs perfectly with so many other foods!
What Makes this Dill Sauce Special?
- Flavored with dried spices so you can make it even when fresh dill isn’t available.
- Rich, tangy flavor that takes so many dishes to the next level.
- Healthy sauce made with plain yogurt and olive oil.

Ingredients
Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: In a small mixing bowl, stir together the yogurt, lemon juice and zest, olive oil, spices, and salt.

Step 2: Let rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, and then enjoy as a condiment with your favorite dishes!
Chef’s tip: The resting period is essential for allowing the flavors to meld and deepen. While resting for 30 minutes is fine if you’re in a hurry, letting it sit overnight will create an even more flavorful sauce.
