What Makes this Dill Sauce Special?

  • Flavored with dried spices so you can make it even when fresh dill isn’t available.
  • Rich, tangy flavor that takes so many dishes to the next level.
  • Healthy sauce made with plain yogurt and olive oil.

Ingredients

  • Yogurt – Plain full-fat yogurt or Greek yogurt both work well. If you’re dairy-free, you can use plain coconut milk yogurt. I used my favorite homemade yogurt to make this sauce.
  • Zest and juice from a lemon – Fresh is definitely best, however, you can substitute bottled lemon juice (and skip the zest) in a pinch.
  • Olive oil – Use extra virgin olive oil for the best flavor and nutrition.
  • Dried dill – If you prefer using fresh dill, use twice the amount called for if you were using dried dill.

Step 2: Let rest in the fridge for at least 30 minutes, and then enjoy as a condiment with your favorite dishes!

Chef’s tip: The resting period is essential for allowing the flavors to meld and deepen. While resting for 30 minutes is fine if you’re in a hurry, letting it sit overnight will create an even more flavorful sauce.
