When it comes to fig recipes, this one couldn’t be easier!
Funny story: I had this recipe on my to-do list when I unexpectedly went into labor a week early. With contractions just minutes apart, I somehow got it in the oven, and we ended up enjoying it as a sweet, satisfying snack after welcoming our son.

Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: First, preheat your oven to 400 degrees. Then place the fig halves, cut side up, in a baking dish.

Step 2: Now evenly drizzle the melted coconut oil and sprinkle the spices over them.
Cover the pan and place the figs in the oven for 18-20 minutes or until they’re soft and cooked through. Enjoy warm!
Chef’s tip: Make sure not to overcrowd the pan! Figs will bake best if they have a little bit of room for air to circulate.
