  • Quick and easy recipe you can prep in only 5 minutes.
  • Simple, healthy ingredients you probably already have on hand.
Ingredients for roasted figs on a counter.

Ingredients

  • Fresh figs – Fresh figs are delicate and spoil quickly. They don’t continue to ripen once picked, so it’s best to buy them fully ripe and use them within a few days. If you pick them yourself, they should keep for a little over a week in the fridge.
  • Coconut oil – Don’t worry, you can’t taste any coconut flavor! You can substitute butter if you prefer.

Cover the pan and place the figs in the oven for 18-20 minutes or until they’re soft and cooked through. Enjoy warm!

Chef’s tip: Make sure not to overcrowd the pan! Figs will bake best if they have a little bit of room for air to circulate.
