What is Azure Standard?
Azure Standard is a family owned company that provides healthy and affordable food, cosmetics, garden items, and more. They have high product standards and won’t sell items that contain ingredients such as GMOs, refined sugars, colors, MSG, and more.
What Does Azure Standard Sell?
Azure Standard carries all types of groceries from produce to dairy to canned goods. They also offer many often hard-to-find healthy options such as wheat berries and my favorite refined sugar alternatives.
To help people save money, in addition to selling items in grocery store sizes, you can buy almost everything in bulk as well.
They also carry tons of non-food household items such as cosmetics, supplements, cleaning supplies, animal feed, and garden supplies. Azure Standard is your one-stop shop for healthy living!
How to Order from Azure Standard
You can shop and place your order online at azurestandard.com. You can shop by category, through search, or by browsing their sales and clearance items.
Once you place your order, you can modify your cart right up until your order has shipped. Because of this, you won’t be charged until your order is on it’s way.
How Delivery Works
You can choose parcel delivery right to your home, however, to save shipping fees, most people choose to pickup their order at a local drop. There are drops in all 50 states, so most people have one close to them.
I’ve lived in Colorado, Idaho, and North Carolina and always had a drop within an hour’s drive. However, most of the time the drops have been much closer.
You can find the closest drop to you on Azure Standard’s drop map.
Drop Pickup Times
Depending on your location, you may be able to pickup weekly, biweekly, or monthly at your drop. When you are shopping, you will be able to choose from the available pickup weeks.
The pickup day and time may vary each time (you will be notified by email), but you will always be picking up your order during the week you selected. If you are unable to make it on the specific day and time, you can have someone else pickup for you or contact your drop coordinator to see if they have any other options for you.
How to Pickup at Your Drop
Once pickup day arrives, the truck should arrive within 15 minutes of the specified pickup time. All of your boxes will be labeled with your name, and everyone at your drop will help with the sorting process.
This is typically a wonderful community event where everyone is willing to help each other out! If you’re unable to assist with the sorting as much as someone else, that’s totally fine. Or if you’re unable to load some of the bulk items into your car by yourself, in my experience there’s always someone who’s willing to lend a hand.
My Azure Standard Review
I’ve used Azure Standard for over a year, and, overall, I’m extremely happy with the company and process. In some of the places we’ve lived, there’s been very limited options for healthy food, and Azure Standard has been the only way we’ve been able to eat the way we want to.
However, Azure Standard isn’t like going to your local grocery store, and there are some negatives that come with that.
Pros
Affordable – Azure has some of the best prices I’ve seen for their quality of products. The ability to buy in bulk also really helps cut the cost.
Wide variety – It’s like the biggest health food store you’ve ever seen plus more! I’m able to get things I can’t find anywhere else.
High quality – They have extremely high standards, and you can trust you’re getting real food. While I’ve seen negative reviews regarding the freshness their produce, this has not been my experience at all. I often ferment vegetables I buy through them and the results are much better than when I ferment produce from Walmart or other local grocery stores.
Ability to modify order – I love being able to modify my order until it ships! Because of this, I place my order early in the month, and continue to add to it whenever I think of something else I need. It helps me not to forget anything!
Azure community – It’s fun to meet like-minded people and chat at the drops! I’ve found that the community is also extremely helpful whether it’s helping me carry heavy things to my car or understanding why I’m not helping with the sorting when I’m very pregnant.
Someone else can pickup for you – This is huge for me! Even though the order’s always in my name, it’s not a big deal for my husband or someone else to pickup my order for me.
Family-run company – While it’s not always possible, I love when I’m able to support great family businesses!
Cons
No set pickup day/time – This can get a little tricky since with one car and 2 under 2! However, the drop coordinators have always been very understanding and helpful, and we’ve always been able to make it work.
Time consuming pickups – Depending on the size of your drop and how the coordinator has organized it, it may take up to an hour to get your boxes and leave. I’ve noticed that certain coordinators have quicker systems so the time will vary depending from drop to drop.
Higher prices on certain items – While most of their items are a fantastic price, if your local Costco or Walmart carries the same item, it’s usually slightly cheaper there. I view Azure Standard like a health food store and typically only get things there I can’t get at a standard grocery store.
Out of stock items – Sometimes, if you place an order for a popular item, it will no longer be available by the time your order ships. You won’t be charged for it, but it can be frustrating if you really needed that product.
Favorite Products
I love everything I’ve tried from Azure, and here are some of my favorites.

Final Thoughts on Azure Standard
Azure Standard has become my favorite place to get groceries, even more than Costco (which is really saying something)! I have been very pleased with everything I’ve ordered from them and am always excited to try new things.
As a one-income family that cares about eating as healthy as possible, high quality food at affordable prices is extremely important to us. If you want to save money while eating amazing food, I highly recommend Azure Standard!
