The One Thing That Saved My Energy
I’ve known for years that herbal tea is one of the easiest ways to give my body extra support during pregnancy. But this pregnancy, we were busy moving across the country, and I let the habit slide.
Around 28 weeks, the exhaustion hit hard. I felt like I was back in the first trimester. I tried to tell myself it was just normal third-trimester fatigue, but something felt off. Since my body clearly needed a boost, I decided to start drinking NORA tea.
The difference was incredible. Within a few days, I went from needing a nap by 10 a.m. to feeling rested on eight hours of sleep and having steady energy throughout the day. Since then, NORA tea has been a non-negotiable part of my routine. Now at 38 weeks, I still feel energized, and it’s officially my #1 pregnancy staple.
What Makes this Pregnancy Tea Special?
- Easy nutrition boost to help your body keep up with the demands of pregnancy.
- Pleasant-tasting herbal blend delicious by itself or with a touch of honey.
- Simple to make at home so you don’t have to buy individual tea bags.

Ingredients
For best results, use high quality, organic herbs. I like to purchase mine from Azure Standard.
Tools Needed
Step-By-Step Instructions

Step 1: First, combine the herbs in a large mixing bowl, and stir until they are evenly mixed.

Step 2: Then place the mixture in a glass container to store.

Step 3: When you’re ready to brew your tea, add 1/4 cup of the NORA tea blend to a large tea infuser and place it in a quart mason jar.
Pour boiling water over the tea and fill up the jar. Cover and let it steep on the counter for up to a few hours. Then place it in the fridge overnight (leaving the herbs in the jar to continue steeping).

Step 4: The next morning, enjoy your nutrition-packed tea! It’s delicious cold or reheated.
Expert tip: To get the full nutritional benefit from this blend, don’t rush the steeping process. I’ve made it part of my evening routine so it has plenty of time to infuse and is ready to enjoy the next morning.

When to Drink Pregnancy Tea
Many conventional medical providers don’t recommend drinking NORA tea until at least the first trimester is over and some suggest waiting until the third trimester. Most midwives recommend drinking it by the time you get to 16 weeks of pregnancy.
As with all health supplements during pregnancy, always speak to your medical provider before drinking NORA tea during pregnancy.
Violet’s Tips for Serving
In the wintertime, I like drinking this tea hot, but in the summer it’s delicious cold. If I’m craving something sweet, adding a small amount of honey is the perfect touch!
