Ingredients

fresh peppermint leaves

Instructions
In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil over high heat.

Remove from the heat and stir in the peppermint leaves.
2 cups fresh peppermint leaves
Cover the pot and allow the tea to steep for 15-20 minutes.
Pour the tea through a mesh strainer to remove the leaves.
Allow the tea to cool to a drinkable temperature and stir in the honey.
1/4 cup honey
Serve your homemade peppermint tea hot or chill and serve iced.
Notes
If you prefer tea that's not very sweet, you can use less honey. If you like sweeter tea, feel free to add more honey to taste.
