fresh figs
1 1/2
tablespoons
melted coconut oil
3/4
teaspoon
cinnamon
1/4
teaspoon
ground ginger
1/4
teaspoon
nutmeg
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
Remove any stems from the figs and slice them in half.
Place them cut side up in the baking dish.
Evenly drizzle the melted coconut oil and spices over them.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and place the figs in the oven for 18-20 minutes or until they're soft and cooked through.
Remove the figs from the oven and serve immediately.
Notes
You can substitute butter for the coconut oil.
